It's my daughters birthday and want to get her a massage for her present but I was told diabetics were not able to have them – does anyone know if this is correct?
Everyone should be able to have a good massage, if you need to book I would go for something safe like a foot or head and shoulder massage, try to avoid heat based e.g. hot stones. I have found many places will not give hot treatments to diabetics this is because it affects glucose levels. If you manage your sugar levels well you should be able to inform them, I have signed a disclaimer before to ensure I could have a hot stones treatment, but mt control was very good.
